Christiania Church received national Historic place title. The 152-year old historic building has got this recognition of Historical place after a lot of research and documentation.

The construction of this historical place began in 1877 and ended in 1878. A few years ago, the building needed repairs. But there was confusion whether to spend time and money to maintain its historic importance or to go for cheaper options. But the decision was to preserve its historical importance.

It is quite rare for an operating Church to receive the designation of Historical place. But Christiania Lutheran Church is lucky to get this recognition.

It was complicated for the Church to receive national recognition. It required efforts for presentations, slide shows and architects.

May be there lay some divine involvement!
